Limited Edition Prints

It is fairly standard practice for large scale fine art prints to be packaged and delivered rolled. This however requires knowledge/confidence around flattening large prints. To ensure the integrity of the print is maintained, the flat packed option is highly recommended.

RETURNS &  REFUNDS

Change of mind following an online purchase

You are eligible for a refund if your request is sent in writing via email to: jac@reindeermossphotography.co.uk within 14 days following receipt of your purchase - a timescale in line with UK law. In this case you would be required to return the art in an identical condition and in the original packaging within the subsequent 14 days from your written request. You must pay for the return postage. Further to receipt of the returned piece, you will receive a refund for the cost of the artwork minus the original shipping cost - (a partial refund), this will be refunded to your original payment method.

Change of mind when the piece was viewed in person then bought

A piece of art that you have viewed in person then purchased either in person or via a subsequent online payment is not eligible for a refund.

Artwork received damaged during transit

If the original artwork arrived damaged, it can be returned for a full refund which will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. We will arrange the collection of the damaged package and cover associated cost through Royal Mail or Parcel Force in the UK.   • attach full view & close up photographs of the damaged package and/or damaged artwork,

  • confirm an address for collection of the package and a selection of potential best dates for the collection which we will do our best to accommodate. If the dates requested are not possible for any administrative reason, alternative date options will be emailed to you.

Limited Edition Prints

  • The prints are unframed.

    As an independent I do not have the infrastructure to offer this service online. I may have some framed prints at art events, please feel welcome to join my mailing list.

  • WHY USE A PROFESSIONAL FRAMER

    As any artwork is affected over time by exposure to dirt particles, moisture and light, I would advise using a professional framer to keep your print in optimum condition. Professional framers use acid-free and archival quality mounts, mats or spacers and glazing.

    DISCUSSING A CONTEMPORARY STYLE WITH YOUR FRAMER

    To add to the sense of immersion, I prefer my photographic prints to reach the edge of the frame without a border. If you wish to do the same, ask your framer to use ‘spacers’ which raise the glass away from the print to allow the print to ‘breathe’. I also tend to use natural wood frames to enhance the natural feel.

    DISCUSSING A TRADITIONAL STYLE WITH YOUR FRAMER (WITH BORDER)

    If you prefer a border between the photograph and frame, ask your framer for a ‘window mount’ to add space around the print. There are different types of window mounts (e.g. single, double, coloured core) which can change the feel of the final framed art.


  • AVOID TOUCHING THE PRINTED SURFACE

    It is advised to keep your print in the original protective packaging until ready to frame; avoid touching the surface to prevent the transfer of natural oils in your hands.

    AVOID HANGING IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT

    When hanging, best to avoid positioning in direct sunlight as UV rays will naturally fade any artwork over time.

  • In a world where what we see is shrinking into smaller and smaller rectangles, my personal interest and practice lies in larger expansive visuals which feel more immersive, this translates into how I print. Additionally at this time, the limits of my independent set up requires me to offer a fixed range.

Linen Wall Hangings

  • Each linen wall hanging is ironed then carefully rolled around the wooden poles and protected with acid free tissue paper. The outer packaging is a strong, double-walled rectangular cardboard box which is the length of the wooden poles. All packaging is 100% recyclable including the packaging tape.
